1. Introduction

These conditions are part of the contract as soon as you make an online booking. Starting from this moment, the rights and obligations of the contract and these conditions become effective.

2.Payment

Contact us through the booking forms, 50% deposit by bank transfer will be claim. All payments must be made in Swiss Francs (CHF) and net of bank costs. The balance must be paid by bank transfer at least 60 days before the start of the stay. For reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival, the total rental fees must be paid at time

of booking.

3. Payment not received

The owner reserves the right to consider the reservation cancelled if the balance is not settled before the scheduled date and keep the deposit. For reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival, the total rental fees must be

paid at time of booking.

4.Damage and deposit

A deposit by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) will be requested by our local contact at delivery of keys.

After inventory and assessment of any damage caused, will be deducted from this deposit all breakage or damage, the value of missing items and the cost of extra cleaning if the chalet has not been left in a correct state.

5. Cancellation by the tenant

The date will be taken into account the receipt of the request for cancellation by the tenant. In case of cancellation notified more than 60 days before arrival, the total amount paid will be returned to the tenant.

For cancellations notified 60 days before arrival, 100% of the total cost of the stay will be retained.

​

6.Cancellation by the owner

In the very unlikely event of cancellation by the owner, due to conditions involuntary of its part, the total amount will

be returned to the tenant and the landlord has no obligation to provide compensation to the customer.

7.Information

Although all the descriptions on the website www.chalet-griffon.ch have been ve rified, it is possible that errors occurred. If so, no responsibility is accepted. Minor differences between the pictures and descriptions of the website www.chalet-griffon.ch with the chalet may exist. The information about the resort have been given in good faith but we can not guarantee their accuracy depending on the period of your stay.

8. Arrival and departure

The keys will be removed between 16:00 and 18:30 hours on your arrival and must be returned by 10:00 am on the day of your departure. Contact the local office if you delay. In case of early departure, no refund will be made.

9.Your responsibilities

The tenant will use the leased property in good fatherly conduct. Only people listed on the booking form may use the cottage. If the maximum number of 8 persons allowed is exceeded, the owner reserves the right to cancel the rest of the stay and the owner will be under no obligation to provide compensation to the tenant. The local contact has the right to deny entry to persons not listed on the booking form. The tenant must leave the chalet in a correct state, as he found at the beginning of the stay. Kitchen utensils should be cleaned and stored in cabinets. The bins should be empty and dropped at the collectors. In case of loss, damage or deterioration, the tenant must notify the local contact.

10. Responsibilities of owner

The owner cannot be held liable for accidents occurring to persons on the reservation form or people in the chalet unless it is directly due to the negligence of the owner. The owner can not be held responsible for loss, breach or delay due to accidental circumstances out of his hand like explosions, natural events (storm, etc..) natural disasters (floods, etc..), fire or accident, war or threat of war, risk civil bylaws, measures taken at government level or local, strikes or industrial actions.

In case such an event occurs, the owner will reimburse the maximum compensation for interruption of stay in proportion to the number of unused days. The owner cannot be held responsible for non-functioning of electrical or mechanical devices such as TV, Internet, pump, boiler, hot water, sauna and non-functioning municipal services such as water, gas and electricity. The owner cannot be held responsible for the noise and disruption

caused by external sources or is not under his control. The owner cannot be held responsible for loss, breakage or theft of personal property within or outside the chalet.

11. Other information

Animals are not accepted.

12. Court

This contract is based on the conditions described in this document and any dispute is governed by the Swiss courts.
